The Shire of Kent’s Long Term Financial Plan is an important financial tool as we strive to achieve the strategies set out in the Council’s Strategic Community Plan. The plan will be used with the corporate business plan, asset management plan and workforce plan to achieve our goals and will assist with the preparation of Council’s annual budgets. The Shire has recently devoted significant resources into improving its strategic planning in line with the State reform agenda for local government.
