The Shire of Kent wishes to advise residents that in accordance with Section 5.56 of the Local Government Act 1995 and Section 19C of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, Council has commenced the process for a major review of its Community Strategic Plan.

To assist Council in the review process, it has engaged the services of Consultancy firm 150 Square to facilitate interviews with key stakeholders and identified residents/ratepayers and widely distribute a survey for feedback from the community.

Council encourages all residents to participate in the above processes, whether by direct contact from the Ms Caroline Robinson from 150 Square or completing the survey which will be distributed to all households in the district.

The Community Strategic Plan will direct Council and its staff on future planning for the district in the coming years.

Feedback would be appreciated by no later than 4.00pm on Friday, 25 November 2022.
