Public Notice Proposed Disposal Of Property By Lease

Local Public Notice is given of the proposed disposal of land in accordance with section 3.58(3) and (4) of the Local Government Act 1995, by the Shire of Kent by way of a Lease in the following terms:

Property: Lot 31 Aspendale Street, Nyabing Church, NYABING WA 6341

Lessor: Shire of Kent

Lessee: Michelle Dolan Trading as Run Line Arts

Term: Twelve (12) months

Commencement Date: 01 October 2026 or such other date as agreed by the parties in writing.

Permitted Use: Use as a private arts studio and creative development space for Run Line Arts, including the creation and storage or artwork and art materials, project planning and administration, preparation for off-site workshops and community arts activities, grant preparation, business administration, professional inspections and quotations, meetings by appointment and other uses reasonably ancillary to those purposes.

Consideration: $1 plus GST per annum

Market Value: $5,800 plus GST per annum, as assessed by Acumentis on 27 August 2026.

The Shire of Kent invites public submissions in relation to the proposed lease.
